Clinical Pharmacists

Andrew Kings

Originally from Birmingham, Andrew graduated from the University of Bradford with a Masters degree in Pharmacy before settling in Gloucestershire in 2012. Since then he has worked in a number of Community Pharmacies in the county, and latterly served as Vice-Chair of the Local Pharmaceutical Committee. In 2019 he welcomed the opportunity to join the team at Berkeley Place Surgery as a Clinical Pharmacist on Tuesdays and Fridays. As a pharmacist, Andrew is an expert in medicines, how they work and helping you to get the maximum benefit from them.

When he’s not talking about medicines, Andrew is a sports enthusiast, following (among others) football, cricket and ice hockey. He likes to keep active, competing in triathlons each summer. Andrew lives in Cheltenham with his wife, who is also a pharmacist, and his cat, who isn’t.
